About Anchor & Restore

Hi, my name is Simisola Rasheed, and I am the founder of Anchor & Restore.

I created this practice as a therapeutic space for emotional healing, relational wellbeing, and personal restoration.

I support individuals experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, self-worth struggles, relational wounds, and unhealthy relationship patterns. My work focuses on helping people develop healthier relationships with themselves and others.

I understand that emotional pain and difficult relationships can affect the way we see ourselves, connect with others, and navigate everyday life. Therapy can offer a supportive space for reflection, healing, and greater self-understanding.

As the Lead Counsellor and Therapeutic Practitioner at Anchor & Restore, I bring a compassionate, trauma-informed, and integrative approach to my work. I am a qualified integrative counsellor, therapist, and coach with a Postgraduate Diploma and MSc in counselling and therapeutic practice, and I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I work with individuals seeking emotional healing and relational wellbeing, including those who value integrating their Christian faith within therapy.

My aim is to create a space where you feel emotionally safe, heard, and supported at your own pace.

Client reflections

“Working with Simi was really helpful in getting some clarity and direction on my next steps. She helped me to work out my intentions, how to structure my weeks and how to lay out steps to take action. Her approachable, professional, open and friendly demeanour put me at ease straightaway. If you’re looking for some help in your next steps I would definitely recommend her!”
Coaching Client
“Working with Simi was a very positive and supportive experience. She provided a calm, safe and non-judgemental space where I felt able to talk openly and be heard. Her approach was kind, thoughtful and professional, and I found the sessions helpful in giving me time to reflect, process difficult emotions and gain a clearer understanding of myself and my situation. I would happily recommend Simi to anyone looking for a compassionate and supportive counsellor.”
Counselling Client
“I had counselling with Simi in 2025. I was nervous at first, but having met Simi at our first session, I felt she was someone who was trustworthy and understanding, and so my sessions were very productive from early on. We went through various situations in my life and Simi always helped me process things and talk about things in a calm environment, with much understanding and validation and also helping to me to come up with the tools I needed to deal with those. What I initially went counselling for led to me being able to deal with things from my very early past, and that was so freeing for me. Counselling with Simi has been very helpful in my life, I am less burdened and still use the tools Simi taught me. We always had a grounding moment which I appreciated a lot. I would definitely recommend Simi, she has the most lovely vibe, is a kind, caring and trustworthy counsellor knowledgeable in her work.”
Counselling Client
“Our relationship sessions with Simi were such a blessing. She created a safe and comfortable space for honest conversations, while always respecting and incorporating our Christian beliefs and values. Simi’s approach to our sessions was very well suited to our personalities and communication styles, which made the sessions enjoyable and light-hearted even during heavier conversations. The sessions helped us communicate better, understand each other more deeply, and feel more prepared for marriage. Simi was warm, wise, and supportive throughout, and we would highly recommend her to any couple.”
